Here are the results of a Google search for Madeleine McCann today.

This is a low effort post, I know. I am not a badass sleuth like some of you. I had been lurking on r/pizzagate for a while and decided to make an account here to post this one thing that I found very interesting today. There is a "fake news" non-story ALL OVER the internet today regarding just some random woman that people think is Madeleine McCann for some reason. I find the timing of this very, very... coincidental. r/pizzagate and these fake McCann stories today have made me go from "totally plausible" to "holy shit these people are definitely onto something." Keep fighting the good fight.

Yes, I am aware of this portion of the non-story. I am referring to the timing and widespread reporting of this non-story on the same day that r/pizzagate was removed, NYT runs a story with Alefantes proclaiming innocence and demonizing "fake news," and pizzagate begins to attract attention. They hijacked the search term "Madeiline McCann" with this story, no?
