She wanted to know what was so interesting online that kept me fully engrossed in the computer. I did my best to explain Pizzagate, but she is the kind who needs sources from reputable websites.

So she went to Snopes, which said those creepy instagram photos were pulled from the accounts of "friends and family members."

She read the NYT article.

And yeah! She's not talking to me. I've been trying to find a good intro post, but I don't know where to start. I'll post back here when we inevitably break up!

This is a common reaction from people who don't want to see what is going on. The whole affair is sickening and something most people would like to think is just bullshit. To admit it happens ruins their perception of the world and makes them see it for the joke it all really is.

It is easier to believe this stuff when you know what people and the government are really capable of. MK Ultra, the Tuskeegee Syphilis Experiment, Operation Mockingbird, and The American Nuclear Guinea Pigs are all proven things the US government has done to its citizens. It isn't a stretch to think the people running the show are not any better. Good luck, but it sounds like she wants to remain asleep.

Honestly it seems like she might be too much of a normie to accept it without cognitive dissonance shutting down her brain even with a smoking gun, but that refutation of the NYT article would be great if someone could resurrect it from the Reddit crypt.
