Tony Podesta donated many works of art in 2010 to the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum: https://media.guggenheim.org/content/pdf/foundation/srgm2010.pdf

The current president of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation is married to this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Stockman#Criminal_and_civil_charges

This foundation had billionaires and politicians on its board. I don't know how to investigate this, but I think the art is used to move large sums of money around.

I happen to have a little list of artists Tony Podesta likes. I've collected these names from various articles, but was too stupid to include the sources in my notes. You can probably find the source by simply Googling "podesta + [artist]". The ones at the top of the list are the creepiest, IMO.
