This an island bought up by the rich and famous. Lots of documented visits by Celebrity A Listers. The island is under French sovereignty. Yes, it was a French surveillance plane that crashed recently after investigating drug and child trafficking for 5 months. From what I gather, half of the island is the tourist part, the rest is comprised of privately owned estates. Here is a forum used by villa owners on the island I discovered:

I haven't looked into everything but it strikes me as though each villa has its own quirks (fetishes/preferences?) And they swap regularly.
