You can download and upload the video to facebook, that'll allow embedding.

I'm all for exposure, even to the comparatively less like-minded audience that Facebook provides. But I'm also super cautious about even allowing Facebook share buttons to load on the pages I visit (PrivacyBadger), so... shotty not.

If you didn't make the video how would you download it?

Could you elaborate on the facebook share button part, please?

There's a *nix utility called youtube-dl that is awesome, supports way more than youtube too. It'll download whole playlists if you give it a playlist.

On Windows I would just use one of those sites that does it for you, pretty easy to find options if you search "youtube download online"

Not a huge facebooker and it could've changed since I last used it. Someone else might be able to chime in if I'm wrong. First you upload a video to your profile or to a group or something, then just click share, and start tagging whomever.

Thanks!

No problem, godspeed. And make sure your facebook account is disposable 'cause I can see them tossing the banhammer around pretty quickly, maybe even claiming they had a DMCA request for the video. You should maybe give credit in the comments of the video, linking back to youtube.

Great thanks. Do you recommend any particular site to create an email address with?

mail.yandex.com, based in russia, has two factor auth and is encrypted I believe. Also there's gmx.com, datacenters are based in Kansas though. Also I've had some services (gitgud.io) not send confirmation emails to gmx.

So pretty much yandex.
