[VERY STRANGE OCCURENCE THIS MORNING ON VOAT AND REDDIT] ( pizzagate )

Okay so something very strange happened here and over at /r/whereisassange this morning.

Someone posted very very excitedly that he found huge amount of files, like over 100GB or something, related to pizzagate and provided some links. After that the post quickly vanished from Voat and was deleted from Reddit like 10 minutes after posting.

Now I recommend checking out that guys reddit thread because im a computer noob and cant make anything of the stuff they are talking there, but that guy provided a few explanations on what happened.

Ok I spent all morning looking through that. Got on linux and tor. Op claimed files hidden in blockchain. Upvoated posts expressed skepticism, mine included, that files could be hidden and not keys from hashed characters. OP didnt offer proof, and the thread is a technical rabbit hole, I am not technical enough to do the stuff the people on that chan were talking about in a thread from 10/26.

On the Discord I refuse to touch w a 10ft /pol/, another voat user said the OP was trolling, no keys had been found, but that chan was where investigations were happening. So I read through the thread.

Maybe they are on to something but non tech wizards should stay away. I suspect OP of this thread and the one this morning are the same throwaway. may be trying to dilute and disrupt that other chan, considering people there do not want it linked to.

Discord is not free open source software, so many comments this morning expressed skepticism and said it may be a honeypot. Or, perhaps OP wants people to flood that discord. I dont know.

There are tons of data in the Namecoin blockchain as well. not just domain and name registrations. there are some volumes of encrypted info laying dormant in expired entries.

I know that someone in charge of WL wallet posted a message the other day, about 8chan post being a fake, and WL being ok. This seems to be related to that. Are they trying to release the insurance files through the block chain? Why not release them another way, more easily?
