The enemy you are looking for wants you to separate yourself from everybody else and the best way to do that is training you into using psychological trigger words that are embedded into the mass consciousness. As far as the Jews themselves, they were slaves of the Egyptians forever and like an abused child took a lot of the worst habits from their masters. Long after their escape, they wouldn't conform and intergrate with the Romans, so the Romans took their religion, slaughtered their people, destroyed their land and set them to wander for eternity.
