Millennial_Falcon

It's probably mostly just people posting their thoughts on pizzagate.

Millennial_Falcon

YouTube has already removed some videos.

TopGun

I don't understand why the establishment hasn't learned by now that badmouthing something doesn't make it go away.

It didn't work with Trump and it's not going to work with Pizzagate.

happy_snek

Some folks are getting videos taken down for being reported for "violent and sexual content", so they're certainly already under some pressure. I can't see a way for YouTube to easily censor this topic without being very obvious and heavy-handed. Video is still a hard (not impossible) medium to scan and detect content for. YouTube has a lot of free-speech canaries in it too, so keep an eye on them.

happy_snek

When I started seeing multiple amateur news channels starting to dig into this, I knew it was really getting traction. They're all collaborating with one another and actually being better investigative journalists than the MSM (with the occasional crazies who add noise to the signal, still better in aggregate). YouTube is either going to be another Reddit or a major vehicle in progressing the discussion, future seems uncertain to me.

Long_Knife

You need people that don't sound crazy. Pizzagate is becoming a meme. Too many trolls and people trying to link everything from Castro's death to MMOs with pizzagate.

SIMONBARROW

I think without further releases from Wikileaks to fuel it the fire is going to run out soon.

happy_snek

No way. People breaking new discoveries every couple of hours is the fuel keeping this fire burning now.

SIMONBARROW

I'd like to think so, but the 'new discoveries' always seem to be very trivial and are mainly historical in nature.

TopGun

It takes time for leads to develop and there are certainly many new leads, good and bad.

This isn't a movie where everything will resolve in 2 hours. Even a real life investigation with actual detectives would take months.

The Pizzagate investigation/conspiracy theory is progressing at a fast pace, IMO.

SIMONBARROW

I think it needs significant new information to feed it. Otherwise, we will forever be reading about old cases, such as the Franklin Cover Up.

happy_snek

Hard-earned progress is always slow, especially in a game stacked against the truth.

MeatballPizza

It's just starting. We were up to 60,000 members in about 10 days on Reddit when it was closed down. Reddit shutting it down sent it to dozens of other boards. It'll go until after Trump is in power and then we'll see if it results in indictments.

This would be major payback for Trump to put Podesta and his buddies in jails for something like this. Plus, the rumors of what's on the Weiner computer.

More is coming. Just getting started honestly.

knight222

Where did you take these numbers?

MeatballPizza

From Youtube itself. Likely higher now!

logjam

can you provide the link please?

OhRutherfordBehave

There is no link. Go to youtube. Type in PizzaGate. In the top right hand corner you will see that there are "78,200" results.

google_is_useful

Can you elaborate...

MeatballPizza

Go to youtube. You can search things there like you do in Google. Type in Pizzagate.

Then you can modify the search by day, month, week. You can monitor the number of things uploaded on specific topics.

79,400 results coming back right now.

dindonufin

That's the number of videos on it. I suppose it is more relevant than not.
