pizzagateinvestigate

Thank you. Asking for a Reddit username is not doxxing. If they have PII on that account then I would understand not posting the username name, that's all they would have to say here. Instead I get 50 trolls going "OMG HE'S ASKING FOR DOXXING REPORT HIM"

GoodGodKirk

Shit's still here, they're bad at deleting content.

h2d

Don't keep it anywhere that's accessible online. Given the capacity of the NSA + google and others working with the govt, we don't know how far this reaches. There's credible evidence of the EXIF data being fucked with from the images - and with the fact that Assange is very likely dead or being held prisoner within the embassy itself - you can't even trust the data integrity of the original stuff on the wikileaks site anymore.

h2d

This is the only advice worth following if you're being serious.

Hybrid33

I've tried 5 different kinds of software. Any recommendations? I have the files and keys from when Wikileaks "dead-mans switch went off". Hoping this might be some more indisputable evidence re #PizzaGate

TealHighCloud

There are people talking about downloading websites and buying EMP-bags from amazon so I think at least someone has all the info at this point. Lot of chatting about Exif data being edited so if you have any original images (e.g. from other chats or from infograhics) ioslate them and do not plug them back in when your computer is connected to the internet. I wish there was a website where this data was collected, links, screen shots and all.

spez_dispenser

Yup. I don't have the link for it, but it will resurface on the next EWO thread.

TealHighCloud

Whaat? Well does anyone actually have the original images? It would have made sense to download all images and leave them on a flash drive where no one could get them. But I am not a tech and have no idea if imgur retains true exif data.

h2d

EXIF data would be encoded into the image itself - I'm not sure as to the process that imgur uses but from what I know from my experience working on the web I don't think that they're wiping the data already on the images. Although they might be, as a privacy precaution in general for all images, since so many people inadvertently upload images from their phones and shit.

Very very sketchy shit going on boys (and girls).

TealHighCloud

Yeah I was wondering about some formatting so that people don't upload pictures of their children for instance, with a time, date and geotag. I know on Flickr people almost always include it to show that the image is theirs. I just have a poor understanding of how exif data gets packaged with a jpeg. Some people are talking about looking at the raw files for clues but it's all beyond me.

BecomingWhtUR

Some extra protection: http://www.emp-bags.com/

They also have these emp bags on amazon but I can't link it here. You'll just have to search there yourself.

Blacksmith21

I'm nowhere near as sophisticated as y'all, but it did click with me that I am using MS OneNote for notes, which is hosted on OneDrive.

I've removed the files from the cloud in case they did sweep for metadata. Files secured in air gapped storage now.

pmichel

it is quite possible anything online could disappear. We might need a grassroots get together to keep this going

totorox

web scrubbing has been going on... forever i assume. Many news stories get scrubbed off the web (google-side at least), or plain edited.

Hybrid33

Anyone have any idea how to UNencrypt a .aes256 file? #PizzaGate #SmokingGun

PizzaPoop

You need a key, as far as I can tell...

Try to figure out how they generate it on the XML callback

Ohdrat

What's the story on this? Did you do as the guy said below in the replies? Is that file from the download site of Comet Pizza?

spez_dispenser

I was suspicious of this ever since I extracted exif data from the Podesta 14-fish photo.

I uploaded that photo to an exif viewer and got gps coordinates from the exif data.

When I went to do it again, the exif data was gone. FROM THE PIC ON MY PHONE. This happened around November 3rd.

Maybe I suck at exif data, maybe there's more than 1 Podesta 14-fish photo and I was using the wrong one.

But the 14 fish photo links podesta to elkinsspace, pizza testing, and a company that rhymes with scatfor.

The only way to confirm this: Podesta (allegedly) sent the 14 fish photo 3 times, plus posted to twitter.

  • Twitter pic is gone
  • Find all 3 copies of the 14 fish photo (if three copies exist)
  • See if there are gps coordinates in any of them.

Also, last night on halfchan, someone was posting screen caps that suggested his computer was being hacked in real time as he browsed wikileaks. Totally sketchy shit.

This is Rule 41 at work:

https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2016/08/illegal-playpen-story-rule-41-and-global-hacking-warrants https://www.wired.com/2016/09/government-will-soon-able-legally-hack-anyone/ http://thehackernews.com/2016/06/fbi-hack-rule-41.html

OP IS NOT LARPING

redditsuckz

They can access computers through the plug in outlet...A computer doesnt need to be connected to the internet/ethernet. Also a computer can be accessed through the radio transmitter in a Wifi card OR a usb thumbdrives radio transmitter...yes its got one.

Best thing to do is put it on a thumb drive and put it and your laptop in a Faraday Cage if you REALLY want to be safe.

http://images.wisegeek.com/faraday-cage-with-bolt-of-electricity.jpg

Pawn

faraday cages arent 100% safe.

urso

And where do we meet if voat 'hammers' us ? any suggestion?

Doc_Brown_Lives

FWIW, The Voat warrant canary is now 5+ days old.

Pawn

canaries are useless.

Doc_Brown_Lives

Possibly - as I've never seen one effectively used and maybe that's by design. But it's still another fragment of information for whatever it's worth.

Pawn

fragment? if by fragment you mean the government can make you fake one.

ShoaNanas

I've came accross this: https://github.com/PedoHunter/pizzagate

It's maybe a good workaround solution to backup data in a distributed way...

nomorepizza

Lol

BlackTara108

Tons of real information is being removed from the internet constantly. I've saved blogs with info on pedophilia, vaccine injury/deaths & several other subjects. Then I return to use the blog and it's been removed.....So, yeah if you wish to keep any information- back it up. It will be removed if it doesn't fit the mainstream narrative.

Womb_Raider

This is why digital media is dangerous. We need to be using paper as well as digital storage.

totorox

It will be removed if it doesn't fit the mainstream narrative and has a broad enough audience for it be worth it

BlackTara108

Good point, totorox.

CrackerJacks

Tweets and pictures about the UFO's were being removed last night. Wouldn't you class that as data removal?

nomorepizza

i'm just glad i found out about it

Hanshan

If you really want Pizzagate to serve for anything meaningful, you can help me build a comprehensive wiki here: www.pizzagate.review

Feel free to copy and mirror it. Accounts are required, as I do not want an army of anons messing with it.

dannonyme

Just please make sure you are backing up the entire site – database and files – on a very, very regular basis...MediaWiki can be a bitch :) PM me if you have MW questions.

Hanshan

Hi! Thank you very much for your input. Although I can't PM you ultil I've got 10 CCP. May you please upvote me so we can keep moving forward? Thanks.

dannonyme

:) I made a wiki account...I'll see ya there

h2d

Stuff like this is the only true long-term solution - well, something like this combined with a discussion forum that aggregates all of the different places it's being investigated online + live chat/video streaming/video playback. I'll have to find me a fellow webdev dork interested in creating something useful.

Hanshan

Hi! Same as with dannonyme: thank you very much for your input. Although I can't PM you ultil I've got 10 CCP. May you please upvote me so we can keep moving forward? Thanks.

h2d

Done...I'm going to post on here with an update later today, setting up a non-US-based, dynamically DNS-hosted anonymous (clearnet) site for all of the evidence and discussion that uses a setup for filtering potential shills/bad actors utilizing a novel trust-rating system I've established. Will post from a dump account.

Also have a potential smoking gun leak re: Proof of Podestas + co. in Portugal @ Clement Freud's villa. Solid proof, from a place they're not expecting at all - so all of this super sketchy shit going on is unlikely to effect it.

CeepsNo

Especially when the content of what they say is harmless

Gorillion

Embassy Cat knows when shit's going down.

Nobody notices Embassy Cat but Embassy Cat sees everything.

MikeT0reno

KEEP THIS SHIT ROLLING GUYS. WHOEVER HAS EVERYTHING SAVED, GET IT UPLOADED HOWEVER POSSIBLE. This has to be protected. Anyone got a compilation of EVERYTHING I can download and back up?

CrackerJacks

Could this have anything to do with the mass sighting of the UFO's over Turkey? it was all over Twitter last night.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WrkPid7S308

Xilgian

No fear. We have the data everywhere! Lol. No way they can get at it.

PlZZAGATE

I don't disbelieve this but where did you get this info?

IgnorantBliss

Shill or not, better safe than sorry right?

Millennial_Falcon

This. We should all already be saving everything locally. By everything, I of course mean everything relevant ( actual leads and intel, which unfortunately is still only a modest amount of what is being posted on this sub). Even archives are not necessarily reliable in the long-term. Save both important images and text posts (copy text post into word processor and save). Keep them organized by subject (create sub-folders).

PrideOfOshtekk

Is this bad advice? No. There's nothing shilly at all here.

Gorillion

At worst it's busy work that should probably have been a set rule from day one.

It's not like our dedicated hyper-autists are going to stop researching in the meantime. This shit is crack to those soldiers.

PrideOfOshtekk

Exactly.

rivercontrol

How do you use Archive.is to capture more than just a single page? Do you have to go into each thread to capture or can you have it crawl?

SandorClegane

Well, there's also that some of us /pol/acks are actually using the greatagaingov admissions to try and get in.

So you never know, in the future you might find some hidden pals.

Me, I only got a call back on a museum posting so far. They must've been swamped.

CaptnMeowMix

Is this like a removal of stuff on voat, or social media, or of independent articles and sites floating around? Cause that's a shit ton of data altogether, so it would be helpful to know how to prioritise it.

And what exactly did the bitmessage say?

GoodGodKirk

All caps? Gotta be a fake.

Embassy_Cat

Are you seriously stupid?

Cid

This could also be a prelude to people investigating this being targeted, and massive backups increases the chances of something incriminating being saved to take them down with. Remember folks, encrypt everything .

justiceforever

Is the archive of r/pizzagate backed up? Particularly the sidebar with all the links?

safetythrowaway1234

Mac users can encrypt their entire drive (HD) with FileVault .

Go to System Preferences -> Security & Privacy -> FileVault.

It generates a backup key in case you forget your account password (you must sign in to access) and you can also send it to apple (I personally would not do that but it's an option).

From the link above

Only unlock-enabled users can start or unlock the drive. Once unlocked, other users may also use the computer until it is shut down.

FYI/DISCLAIMER: If you forget your password AND your key, then ALL OF YOUR DATA IS LOST !

billl

As a reminder, TrueCrypt 7.1a is the last real version of True Crypt before all of the drama, key changes, and as many suspect, compromise of the software.

Find a binary of 7.1a, then check multiple reputable websites of your own finding for the hash of 7.1a and verify your binary before trusting it.

Cid

Exactly this. Thanks for the reply.

happy_snek

Any reason to not use VeraCrypt at this point, for Windows users? They did go through that code audit, but I can understand if people still feel real uneasy.

Linux users can use LVM encryption on your disks. It's built-in to the kernel, no extra software needed. Your preferred distro's installer probably has a checkbox you can just select to do all the hard work for you.

psymin

Been using dmcrypt for years. Got suggestions for best practices?

happy_snek

Be sure to use an EXTRA BIGASS PASSCODE , and basically just do your best to be RMS. Get anal about binary blobs in your code (backdoors, telemetry), or in your computer's chips (Intel ME, Libreboot), etc. You only need to trust bad software once for shit to go straight out the window.

JohnQCitizen

New people, unaudited code, all came after getting shut down, seems sketchy at best.

Sanotsuto

I believe some of the top tier PG guys have already done this as a contingency measure, but it couldn't hurt to be doubly secure.

Embassy_Cat

Believe me or not, there is a data removal op being carried out.

JUST BACK UP ALL IMPORTANT DATA

PLEASE I AM NOT LYING (IF I WAS A SHILL WHY WOULD I TELL YOU TO BACK UP IMPORTANT DATA)

totorox

give evidence to that data removal op going on and you'll alarm people heaps better than by going all caps and no proof, buddy.

TealHighCloud

I DON'T KNOW SOMETIMES YELLING AT PEOPLE REALLY HELPS KEEP EVERYONE LEVEL HEADED..

graboid0

Can't hurt to do it. What is the best way to save an entire page with links?

I mean, I suppose periodically backing up all of our combined data isn't too stupid

HarveyKlinger

I use httrack - http://www.httrack.com/page/2/en/index.html

I also right click and "save as webpage" for quick saving.

happy_snek

It can hurt to do it. If you back up this highly-sensitive data to your local machine, and police break in and confiscate it... Well, you were part of the pedo ring all along! Good job catching the bad guy everyone!

If you are going to save ANYTHING about this whole effort to any local machines related to yourself, ENCRYPT THE EVERLIVING SHIT OUT OF IT.

billl

Download offline copies, archive and encrypt.

HarveyKlinger

Here's a legit link to TrueCrypt 7.1a (all versions, docs, source, hashes) https://www.grc.com/misc/truecrypt/truecrypt.htm

www.archive.is

totorox

They will take down the archive sites sooner or later, pretty soon in my flair. They've been quite cautious so far, only taking down a subreddit or two, messing with a chan board or three. I assume they're correctly assessing that censorship attempts will only enrage this citizens enquiry further, spreading/credibilizing it to normies.

But dont delude yourselves. You're striking at the root of evil in this world, they would take down the whole internet if it came to it.

Don't assume archive sites are safe. Nothing is. (But the kingdom within, a christian might say).

TealHighCloud

For sure. No archive is safe. I hope no one is daft enough to rely on websites remaining operational and not being tampered with.

Gorillion

OP and others are meaning "back up to non-online sources". Archive could go kaput in an instant for all we know.

h2d

^^^ THIS ! Too many people are depending on shit like archive.is which can go down and probably WILL - backup (redundantly) and encrypt it. Best practices include archiving data into a compressed zip or rar file - password protected - of encrypted contents. Works great with multiple rar portions like r00 r01 files, etc. that you can spread across multiple devices if necessary.

SandorClegane

One minor quibble: Archive.is doesn't mess with ajax at all (see: recent imgur arcs having no comments)

If the site you're arcing has it, make a personal shot at some place like megalodon.jp or freezepage Freezepage won't let you link elsewhere but that also means no one else can tamper with it without knowing it.

Or just straight up Save As... >Full HTML and then pass it around in a .rar of some kind. There's some browser extensions out there that let you dunk a full site (at least the open parts), most would come out around 100MB I reckon if they're personal/corporate and been around a long time.

ExpandYourMind

Keep in mind you can d/l a .zip file after using the archive.is feature also

In_Cog_Nito

@graboid0 To expand on this, once you archive the page @ archive.is, be sure to download the zip file it creates. See the top of the page for the "download .zip" link.

pontagon

good point - hadnt actually noticed this before

pizzagateinvestigate

"Member for 21 minutes"

Seems legit.

asdfghjkl123456789

No motive for it to be a troll. Back your shit up? How could that possibly harm anything?

Just good advice, at worst.

Cazmir

If you felt as strongly as OP would you use your main account? i would hope not.

QuestionEverything

Reading over your comments: you're negative. You downplay a lot. You add discouragement without advancing anything.

Make your posts better, or you are far more suspect.

NEVER ASK someone to DOX themselves in ANY MANNER.

pontagon

regardless - periodical offline archives of this information should be procedure, we are literally unleashing a fucking beast here.

kwibjo

Troll or not, it still might be worth backing up what we can now just in case.

existentialenso

I'm guessing this is the same person, in which case, she has a year+ reddit account: https://www.reddit.com/user/BriannaMaryrose

I've been a redditor for 7 myself and was highly active in /r/pizzagate , lurked on voat a ton, and only registered a little while ago. There's a lot of suspicious stuff going on with new accounts, but some of us are just recent reddit spillover.

Embassy_Cat

Yeah that's me...

pizzagateinvestigate

Would you mind putting your reddit username here and then leaving a comment on the threads being posted by BriannaMaryrose so we can verify your 7+ year reddit account? Thanks.

existentialenso

Honestly, I think this request is a bit ridiculous, but I have the same username (ExistentialEnso) on reddit, and here is verification we are one in the same: https://www.reddit.com/r/ExistentialEnso/comments/5fdgth/verifying_that_voat_account_existentialenso_is/

Gorillion

You're a member for 5 days. How do we verify you?

A quick scan of your account shows you mainly spreading doubt about leads and discouraging certain branches of investigation.

You may be super legit, but have some sense of your own lack of solid face value.

pizzagateinvestigate

(1) There is NOTHING to back up their post, troll. Saying "BITMESSAGE" is obviously ridiculous to anyone who isn't an idiot.

(2) The person admits to having a reddit account where they left the exact same post on Whereisassange.

Obvious trolls are obvious.

Embassy_Cat

I only joined the voat to warn you guys!!!!

PLEASE JUST LISTEN AND BACK UP ALL DATA ASAP

Fahrvergnaked

Why don't you show us whatever you saw that made you think that we need to make backups, make everything a lot quicker...

PizzaPoop

Not certain, but when it comes to these types of things it might be best to keep the other side guessing on what info you have because it's harder for them to cover up that way
