What makes you think it's under Comet Ping Pong. Connecticut Ave is very long it starts at Dupont circle and Comet Pizza is about 8.5 miles further away. I believe that the Pizza joint that their tearing down in the video is under Dupont circle.

I feel somewhat judgmental saying this, but isn't it strange all the people doing the work are very much demasculinized in character? I'm surprised they could even do or plan this kind of work. It's not directly under CPP. the closest point of the tunnel is 3.3. miles down the road from Comet.
