Being creepy is Tim and Erics trademark. People legitametly enjoy pizza, and Tim and Eric's show mostly appeals to stoners, probably late at night, it would make sense to mention the ultimate munchy: pizza! They've had sketches about spaghetti too. They're weird, but they probably aren't involved. If they were into this shit they'd have a lot more money to do bigger things. Their shows and movies are low budget.

And James Alefantis is just a pizza shop owner and Amanda Kleinman just a C list rock star in a band you've never heard of. Maybe Heidecker did a 'video art installation' for a late night party? Who knows. (but I see where you're coming from and you could be right)

I'm waiting for his latest Office Hours podcast to go online soon, he apparently addresses pizzagate in that.

MAGABoomer

That one where he's singing pizza parade...his face is all sweaty...he could have someone honking on bobo while singing. Gak.

"wanna look for absurdist sketches that mention pizza and use them to to dilute the important pedophilia investigation with dumb shit?" "do i ever"

Here's a description of the movie 'The Comedy' written by and starring Heidecker https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Comedy

His extremely sarcastic sense of humor attracts a waitress, who he takes onto his boat. While undressing, she suffers a seizure, which Swanson observes with vague interest. Swanson's friend Van (Eric Wareheim) shows the group a slide show of photos from his childhood interspersed with pornographic images as a gag. Despite some initial laughs, the group falls silent and everyone appears saddened, including Van, who solemnly continues the slide show. In the final scene of the film, Swanson visits the beach, where he plays in the water with a young child, an activity he seems to genuinely enjoy.

Had a feeling this would be the response, sorry. If I could find a clip of the last scene in 'The Comedy' you'd understand why I think he's so creepy. Watch the movie.

SIMONBARROW

Anyone who goes over the top about pizza in this manner is, in my view, extremely suspect. I hated watching those clips though - this guy is not in the least bit funny.
