PizzaGate needs to be investigated, pure and simple. To suggest otherwise implicates you as covering up for those who are committing heinous acts against children. There is no such thing as a person who initially holds a neutral interest in this topic, and after learning more about it, to suggest it does not need further looking into. For this very reason, there should be no excuse for stopping the investigation by anybody.

The problem with witch-hunts, is that they always turn on the leaders of the witch-hunt.

At the end of the day, 4CHAN, the originators of the PizaGate mem, are themselves the largest hidden base of CP on the internet.

If this ever did blow you can be damn sure it would come back and haunt all those who begat the witch-hunt, this is how most witch-hunts end, when the judges themselves start being accused to be witches

Yes, but I just feel like this point needs to be brought up every time someone defends any aspect of it. They need to be labeled and branded as pedophiles themselves, after all, those that commit the crime, and those that cover for them, who is worse? They are both the same.
