This is just my gut but I think that a lot of these faces have been altered with photoshop or at the very least these photos were taken with lenses to intentionally distort proportions. There is a strong sense of "offness" with most of their features, eyes either too big or too small, too close, or too far apart.
Is it just me or does the sense of "offness" increase as you scroll further down the page?
