you can also rip the audio as an mp3 and gather the raw data like

I wont be at my laptop for a few days, but anyone who know s about hex editing: Download the video as an mp4 (highest quality version), then get http://www.sweetscape.com/010editor/ there is a free 30day trial of it (they have a lot of various templates for different file structures including mp4).

Open the vid in the editor and look for a subsection called "mdat" this is the raw video (there may be more than one mdat). move the data from the mdat (s) and save in an empty file. You can then use the raw video data for putting into audacity or something. There is another program that takes anyfile and turns it's (byte?) structure into a visible sequence http://dsplab.diei.unipg.it/software/pyuv_raw_video_sequence_player

you can do this with plain audio too, though I'm not too keen on audio file structures.

if you put the raw data in audacity. goto file>import> rawdata i think and when it asks what kinda bytes you want to load it as select ulaw (i think everything else can be at the default.)

I definitely think there's something to ped rings possible using youtube encoded with messages. I posted this one on another thread https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=773dgUxpduo I don't think there's code in this one, but I could be convinced the boy is being display as product. Look through this person's other vids and connections (I found it linked to a profile that linked to a profile that commented on this pizza hut commercial for sausage stuffed crust). Many the profile that I linked to this profile with had the same type of vids that list specific date and times, and/or addresses, and phone numbers. Unfortunately I called one and now that profile is down (Abad idea on my part since it looked like it spooked them enough to take down the account. I apologize and won't be dumb about again. Is it okay to post numbers, because If of you have a better way to get background info on a # than I do (google) I'll send it.

so yeah, i still believe if they where trying to send stuff to each other, youtube would not be the way to do it because they would loose information during youtubes encoding process, unless they dont do it if you already have the correct codec settings they use for audio? im not a youtube expert so someone else might want to chime in on this

putting your theory to the test, downloading now. im just not sure if youtube will ruin a potential hidden image through the way they compress audio and video when you upload something
