The first is a wikipedia article about "SRA", Satanic Ritual Abuse. In the 80's, high profile cases were coming out about satanic ritual abuse. There was outrage and panic. But then it turned out it was a figment of everyones imagination. Children were brainwashed by dodgy therapists who were trying to find things that weren't there. False memory syndrome and confirmation bias. Police and government investigators didn't find any evidence. Satanic Ritual Abuse didn't exist at all.

Second link is a rebuttal to the wikipedia article from a Ritual Abuse support site.

I wonder if cases like McMartin Preschool and Hampstead weren't meant as"show trials", with the specific intention to exonerate the accused and disprove the existence of secret Satanic cults?

McMartin Preschool case looks like a coverup to me.

Kids described tunnels. Initial investigations "exonerated" the defendants because no tunnels were found...

But there was a bunch of large tunnels. There is a 80+ page report done by the FBI director of LA, an archeologist, and another phd scientist.... The evidence of tunnels was found before the criminal trial was over... yet the prosecution refused to bring up the tunnels as evidence.

Kids had fucking scarring on their anuses and shit like that! SICK SHIT!

Were supposed to believe that 100's of kids made this shit up because of suggestive questioning... I don't buy it.
