Not questioning the lifestyle of that Washington Times 1989 article, ftr. Just questioning the illegal activity and just how old those call-boys were? Seems that's the only reference of it, but would be interesting to know the history considering what we're discussing. You know, in case they call us homophobes for asking what was that about?

Yes. That's part of the Franklin Scandal. Watch "Conspiracy of Silence" for more details.

Also listen to this podcast Sword and Scale - Episode 5 and 6. It goes into great detail on the scandal as well.

Oh crap, and I just read the maker was constantly getting death threats, and they said his death was a suicide. How many deaths of these investigators are we up to?

CandyPanda

All of this is just mind numbing. I haven't been this awake in some time. I've always had my theories, but seeing this is pretty much confirming all my worst fears. I'll definitely watch - thx.

Yes. That's the story. Saw it along the way. Note also the Funeral Home used to launder the money (and dispose of bodies?).

See the attached. Apparently the Washington Times covered a similar scandal back in 1989? Can anyone verify this?

Here's a brief NBC clip commenting on this story, but no details. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ehleJE5evBI
