Overall RFID shielding would help some of these people risking their lifes for this case by protecting their identity etc. With the link I posted for the website, you can easily make yourself a top of the line bag for a labtop.

ThePuppetShow

Question. How can someone steal info through a rfid scanner if the info isn't formated in rfid codec?

DystopianDaze

All passports, many driver's licenses/IDs and some credit and debit cards are equipped with RFID. They sell special wallets now to block readers.

ThePuppetShow

Right, but we're not talking about that.

LtSilverFox

Yup it all comes down to how strong they actually are. Make sure your not buying a dud

DystopianDaze

I have been able (to date) to go one better, and simply do not have any of those things with a chip. I do know several who have bought the wallets, though.

LtSilverFox

Smart man. Not a lot of people know or they just don't care. There is also those who don't need them....... like sheeple. But yea RFID shielding would help some of these people risking their lifes for this case.

DystopianDaze

Thanks, though I'm not a man. :)

LtSilverFox

Hehe sorry c:

DystopianDaze

Lol...np, much better than what I was just called.

LtSilverFox

I also see this useful for the sake of keeping your identity safe since that's tied well to your device your using. Anons do use this for a reason

LtSilverFox

I just got into the vulnerability field a few months ago since I started college so I don't have a solid answer to that question yet, sorry. I'm sure if you research it you'll find it out

ThePuppetShow

It certainly can't hurt, I was just curious. Thanks for being honest.

DystopianDaze
