If anything, this just makes it more confirmed that comet does have a basement. Its the same building as comet. This makes it seem now like he's covering up a SECRET CHAMBER under 5037 Connecticut. Even more suspicious if they wont even talk about it.

I personally think CPP probably doesn't have a basement. The basement Alefantis mentioned years ago is probably the one at Buck's.

In fact, this doesn't matter. CPP having or not having a basement is not an essential part of the investigation here. We have uncovered many evidences of a pedophile ring connected to CPP, but it's a straw man of the real argument here to say that there is "pedophile ring run from the basement of CPP". Let's not give ammo to those interested only in discrediting us.

I stated this elsewhere, but I'll post it here also. The walkthrough that Mr. Alefantis provided the two idiots who couldn't even work a camera and were passively accepting of everything said did NOT include everything. Where was the food prep done? Where was the storage of food? More importantly, where is the storage of alcohol?

Both Bucks and Comet serve alcoholic beverages. Where is the alcohol stored? I didn't see it on that tour and it would have to be stored on the premises. Alcohol is a huge part of income. They're not about to run out of alcohol and lose revenue so WTH is it?

If this doesn't prove they have a storage area, then it does prove that Mr. Alefantis did not give an entire tour.

Can you further explain what you mean? I don't grok you.

To me, this makes it seem more likely that CPP would have a basement? This is just as bad as overzealous "smoking gun" posts. What makes you come here?

comeonpeople

The fact that they put their supplies in his other restaurant two doors down somehow makes it more likely to you that Comet has its own basement? You think they just like dragging tons of tomatoes over everytime they need them?

23eulogy23

Maybe they are using their own basement for something more nefarious. I think it's weird that when they built the building they would only dig a basement out for part of it instead of the whole building

PaisaHunter

I believe the person thinks it is more likely because if one location has a basement, it is probably that other locations would also have basements. In my opinion, JA is smart. It would be stupid to lie about a basement under your restaurant because this is something that could be easily proven or disproven. It makes more sense to keep the locations separate as to not raise suspicion.

heygeorge

Is it realistic that they drag "2 tons of tomatoes" over? No. Pulling out of the basement is the hard part, after that it's all wheels. Besides, who in their right mind would ruin the vibe in their kid fucking dungeon with all those jars of sauce?

Regardless, you're not going to be able to fight this hunt with your methods. If you played your cards better, your findings would be added to the body of 'evidence'.

comeonpeople

I'm still waiting for you to explain the "logic" behind thinking that storing 12 tons of tomatoes at BUCK'S makes it "more likely" that COMET has its own basement.

heygeorge

I'd have to look at the buildings, but what this tells me is that locally it's geologically possible, i.e. Not immediately bedrock at/below ground level.

Millennial_Falcon

Of course, this doesn't prove they didn't dig a secret basement. It just suggests he probably was talking about Buck's when he referred to storing tomatoes "in our basement."

Edit: Changed maybe to probably. I would say this is sufficient to debunk the claim that Alefantis contradicted himself about a basement in Comet, with regard to tomato storage. We should treat that as disinfo going forward. BUT your title is wrong. This is NOT proof that Comet has no "basement."

comeonpeople

"maybe" he was talking about Buck's?

hendaiburtu

*Proof that Comet does not keep their pizza sauce in their basement.

We don't know if they have a basement.

comeonpeople

Well, the "proof" that they do is generally the quote from James last year where he talked about keeping the tomatoes in the basement. As others have speculated, it turns out he meant Buck's basement. He has always denied Comet has a basement, the video walkthroughs show nowhere a basement could be, and the lower level is a walkout to the parking lot.

They're not going to drag 12 tons of tomatoes back and forth from the other basement if Comet has its own.
