The 500 million people bit does beg the question how they might wish to get there

I usually go the elite and plutocracy routes. Even when discussing NWO and Illuminati, I tend to emphasize that these are mere labels for that which usually has no formal name. It sidetracked the red scare tactics used for a century when people attempted discussion of plutocracy and the elite. No longer can you foo foo it as class warfare communist propaganda, for NWO and Illuminati play well with the "End of Days" theology started in America during the mid 1800's. There is a formal name for it but it is alluding me. It is a core component of evangelical religions. Instead other propaganda was used toward this demographic. Largely just feeding into the more dramatic and shark jumping memes of the NOW/Illuminati. It conveniently places the NWO discussion with the safe space of conspiracy theory. Feed in some religious teachings abut how America will save the world from a Catholic European Antichrist and badaboom! They made lemonade out of lemons.

So I see your point and agree... and also disagree. I am quite conflicted on your point, which indeed has plenty of merit.

But here is the thing. Different demographics need different packaging. NWO, Illuminati and Satanic Cabals plays well to the Protestant Christian demographic. That is just how it is. Conversely, it is a conversation stopper for Atheist, Catholics, progressives, neo-liberals and neo-conservatives.

I do not know of a pretty packaging that is palatable to everyone. Even the word elites would be controversial to libertarians, people who believe in prosperity theology, and others.

It is the rule of the elite. Within the elite, there are alliances and circles that use what ever means they can to keep their group in line. Intimidation, blackmail, favors and perks, and other means used make them very much a mafia of the elite. You can call it networking, but it is a bit more than that. Everyone in the chain of hierarchy gets a taste. Sometimes it goes up chain. Sometimes it is shared down chain. You Bogart anything and you get reprimanded. How do I know this happens? Because any such circle would have a real advantage over any of the individuals acting alone. The circle can act with the combined strength of all members vs ad hock alliances on the fly. The basics of economics and anthropology demand that this is what happens if there are not sufficient checks and balances to prevent collusion. All checks and balances have been removed. Worse yet, they run the very systems that perform checks and balances.

Money is power. Concentration of wealth is concentration of power. Absolute concentration of power is absolute corruption. The great wealth divide has snapped.

Actually, it really is happening the world over. Call it NWO. Call it the plutocracy. Call Blue Dog Shit for all I care.

A group of elites who are not in any formal positions having great influence over the governments of the world. What could go wrong? Everything.

How about the JEW world order? let's be honest, this whole scandal is so clear: Jews need to have some goyim front-men in their operations, whether it be banking, world politics, the UN, whatever. Isn't that just too damn bad. Let's grab those clothespins and hang as much dirty laundry as we can on that clothesline right out where all can see it. We will not wash it or bleach it.
