I have basic skills, but there are many on here who can find things, post, but don't have skills to archive, to upload video, to make their posts rich with images, attachments whatever. Some people don't know how to take a screenshot, but want to help.
I don't have the skills to do an ongoing post where skills are easily found, but could someone start one and nanny it? Then when someone says "I don't know how to archive", we won't have to depend on luck or someone else swooping in. We can direct them to the Skills Room and they can read how to proceed.
c'mon, any support for this idea? I feel it is essential to efficiency and better organization.
I'll start by asking for easy ways to make an archive. making twenty screenshots of a 5 page list of pictures seems more tedious than necessary.

Disinfo. Ignore.

as long as you don't post hate speech on the voat/pizzagate forum, please exercise your free speech at will.

HINTS:
SAVING MATERIAL ON VOAT: On Voat, if you want to save information you run across and like to your own account, use the small "save" button on the bottom menu. It will save to your account page. Should be obvious but when you are new, not everything is.

LINGO: (Feel free to suggest additions)
CTR - Correct The Record (paid people who derail the investigation).
FLAIR - the litte colored title put on some posts to identify/seperate their type. Example - Debunked, Meta SHILL - people who are paid to be on this site to disrupt the crowd sourced investigation, morale and culture here. Paid Troll. TL/DR- means Too Long, Didn't Read, Sometimes used before a quick synopsis so you don't have to read through a lenthy fact-filled explanation.

Just capture screenshots by pressing the top tab, and the Home button at the same time, you'll hear it make a camera type shutter noise. It should wind up in your Photos in a separate folder labeled Screenshots. Screenshots are super valuable too.

Thank you this is a great idea. Mac tutorial Grab is an app for Mac OS X that lets you take screenshots of your screen. Grab supports capturing the entire window, the entire screen, or only a portion of your screen. This short tutorial explains how to use Grab to take screenshots
Grab can be found in the Utilities folder under applications. Or type /Applications/Utilities/Grab.app in Finder Or Launchpad > Other > Grab

TO MIGRATE TO ANOTHER GATHERING SPOT -
You just go to gab.ai. No .com or org. It ends with ai. As of right now, if you just scroll down, on the left under Trending hashtags you can see Pizzagate. Click on that.
IF Pizzagate stops trending then do this...
Go to search on gab.ai and put this #pizzagate A hashtag is the pound sign like this # It would work fine on a phone. If you have any questions then you can send me a message by putting @rayzie and posting it. Then I will see it when I log in. If you forget my username, it's just like my username here but without the s. If you still lose it, you can just post and ask people for help. People are much nicer there than other social sites.

What about running TORs and stuff to stay anonymous?
▼ VieBleu
From what I understand TOR acts like a magnet and attract the pests, is slow and not that good. But I don't know that much about it, I welcome the thoughts of others

Create a few bookmarks and change the URL (destination/web page) to the following javascripts.
While viewing an image, this one will import the image into https://sli.mg
javascript:void(open('https://sli.mg/upload?url='+encodeURIComponent(document.location)))
This one is similar to above but skips the confirmation
javascript:void(open('https://sli.mg/upload?url='+encodeURIComponent(document.location)+'&auto=true'))
This script will automatically archive whatever webpage you are currently viewing with https://archive.is
javascript:void(open('https://archive.is/?run=1&url='+encodeURIComponent(document.location)))
Edit: Here is an example of my auto-confirm, sli.mg import bookmark in Firefox.

Thank you! How did you highlight the JavaScript in green?
▼ NoRagrets
Highlight the javascript in green? Do you mean in my screenshot?
That's the default colour in Linux Mint.
Edit: Ok, my login just timed out which meant my custom CSS stopped showing and I now see the green text you're talking about.
It appears the CSS for this sub changes text inside "code" tags to show in green.
Test it yourself by surrounding a word or sentence with a backtick (`) either side.

IF YOU FIND POTENTIALLY ILLEGAL MATERIAL - This was suggested by someone on another thread.
I know that might be some REALLY unpleasant work, but you should -Check if it's DEFINITELY underage girls. if it is (so it would be concidered a crime) make sure to backp some screenshots with timestamps. If possible keep a photo of every girl (in case we find something out about kidnapped girls connected to that guy) as well as a definite proof it's pedo activity. (backup it so we have a valid reference to prove that guy's a pedo). -Afterwards you should report the pictures so they get deleted and possibly even the accound banned. Idk about the rules but watch out where to upload backups of such content...
ARCHIVING AND POSTING A SCREENSHOT IN A COMMENT HERE:
go here
http://sli.mg/
open windows explorer file enter photo name in search bar drag into
http://sli.mg/
click upload
then copy link in address bar, and post here.

I don't think anyone should save underage porn pictures. Even if you are doing that innocently, to help them, they could charge you for child porn on your computer. Someone else should give us an idea of what to do. That would be helpful
▼ VieBleu
Sounds reasonable to me. I wouldn't save actual porn stuff.

EXTRACTING FRAMES FROM A VIDEO USING VLC PLAYER - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=geF_i71I-ZMYouTube
ARCHIVE - I've been told, you can just cut and past a URL into the space provided Here http://archive.is
Here is a step by step: Copy a URL you want to backup Go to archive.is Paste the URL and press "save the page" It is then archived online on archive.is
I have asked why it is everyone is so sure of archive.is, and am waiting for the reply.

Not a problem at all. I'm a momma with two daughters. One is in college, and I'd love to make this world safe for the children she wants. My youngest just looks at all of this and says she doesn't even wanna have kids in our world, she'd feel guilty knowing she can't protect them or their children within her lifetime. That breaks my heart to hear a teen say that. Not that I want my teen having a baby, but her view of the world made me angry at those ruining it, actively ruining it. Any way I can counteract it, I WILL DO IT. Within the law...ya know like Leah Remini is doing with the Scientology doc. Doing what she can, like they do, toeing the line of the law to fight back, even if it's just whack a mole on social media for now.

roll up your sleeves and wade in - anytime you see someone trying to post racist, violence, vigilante justice, even in a comment, ask them to change it, explain that this investigation has nothing to do with hate speech and if they don't change it, report it to the mods. Don't get involved in any long negative arguments, that is one of their strategies. This is also not specifically a Christian forum, though people are certainly welcome to post positive statements of faith. Shills will try to paint this investigation as one political party, faith or species of violence - it is a non-violent, non-partisan movement free of hate speech that represents the average American who wants to see legal justice.
Don't be afraid to DEMAND that mods eliminate troublesome trolls and shills. It is our right to keep this forum clean and free from criticism.
