First off, I'm not a shill, been posting for a bit. So look, here is my take for what it's worth, I think this guy went to check the place out. Looking at the pics of his kids, not unlike how my son-in-law or son look at their kids - happy and proud, sometimes silly. I think he's seen what's going on and went to check the place out. He's military background, and licensed to carry, so went in prepared. IMO, he coulda been a little more discreet....holster a gun, whatever. But maybe the rifle is different than the handgun in DC permissions, IDK. My theory about this guy: He's from N.C. where open carry is legal. You can walk into a restaurant there strapping your gun, sit down, eat. No problem.

D.C. recently struck down a restriction on open carry, but that was handguns.

This guy thought he'd be bad ass - has family history of law enforcement and concern for kids and kids at risk of trafficking via his dad and history.

So he shows up open carrying and sits down to order a pizza.
