It's interesting that the people who are broom enthusiast (broom being the tool used to stop the raccoon from getting pizza) are represented by a building that looks like the neoclassical style used In DC. Also that the people, adults and kids, at the secret pizza party are wearing Domino masks. Also that the raccoon is scared of the pizza delivery man recognizing his face from his wanted poster.
It's interesting also that when the raccoon was looking for pizza individually he was worried about being caught but then he sees a group of people having a secret pizza party but doing it out in the open, loud noises, open tent, but those people were all wearing masks, similar to the racoon's bandit mask coloration.
"Clearly these people are better at giving parties than keeping secrets"
After reading your "secret pizza" title, I was going to link to JA's IMDB page that mentions secret pizza in one his movie plots. However, it is no longer there!

Just watched all of it, this is disturbing as hell. The connotations there cannot be coincidence.

The book comes off as grooming.

The Mayor of New York read that book to children at a school. Weird.
