Ok, you regained your upvote. But I don't get why my account says it is 1.4 years old! I just checked and if I did make this account 1.4 years ago 2 extraordinary things would have to be the case, firstly I never made a comment (I checked, first comment was days ago) and secondly I made the username up on the spot the other day as I didn't really want this to associate with anything else, I don't want them being able to attack me by going "oh, it's him", so could I have made the same username twice somehow when I think I just made it up? Hadly. But if some password security fail gave me an already existent account of another user it wouldn't be empty like this was...

So the date is wrong, it is an error and that's on voat, but it makes me look like an old hand here when I'm a total n00b.

@justanotherone No. We've all been there, but this IS NOT REDDIT. You have to earn the right to downvoat by ACTUALLY PARTICIPATING in the communities here on Voat.

There are plenty of people downvoating the shills, trust me, and we are dealing with them as well, just check the list of suspected shills in the sidebar.

Honestly I have not used reddit enough to understand it very well how it works. But I have contributed to the community, I have 18 submission contribution points, 51 comment contribution points but zero updates despite people saying they have, WTF! If a few days worth of involvement have me at zero on a 100 vote journey, when will I reach the goal? Perhaps never. That's why I posted. This is too important subject to be undone because voat has a bad system of voting.

Dude, the MIDDLE NUMBER is what you need 100 of to downvoat things.

the FIRST number has more to do with your ability to upvoat. Your profile SAYS that you have not upvoted anything. which is why the last number is still 0. That last number next to your name in the upper right corner is how many things YOU have upvoted.

Bull, use the search feature and you will see I have said a lot! All pro-pizzagate! I have participated and I have zero upvotes. I presume this is not isolated to just me.

Update: I just tried searching for my username and nothing comes up. So the search function sucks. It doesn't even come up with this post.

BTW it shows you have nothing either But you just commented. Think about it, if it says I have zero comments and posts and we are commenting in a post I made... Then those numbers are wrong.

Oh fuck, ok, that's obvious. I didn't even know you could click those, they are so grey and boring I assumed they were graphical nesting doodads to look pretty. Grey is normally the colour of disabled buttons/links.

Also, my account IS NOT 1.4 years old, I am 99% sure i never visited voat until pizzagate broke, maybe there is a slim chance I created it posted one thing and forgot, but I don't think so, I'll look into that. Thanks!
