Benjamin Freed needs to be near the top of the list. His article about the suspicious gunman came out fully researched, before it had even happened! He had already done interviews, with people who were supposedly locked down for an hour. He was caught out, and has been in damage control ever since.... Of incidental note, he did a promotion tweet for the bizzarre animated movie Sausage Party. Says something about it being a sign of the times we live in.
