They are covering their asses now because they got served with at LEAST one libel lawsuit. But here's the thing I wonder. What would they do if they got legitimate proof that #pizzagate is as bad or worse as people are saying? I'm not talking a .jpg with a lot of pictures and lines drawn showing how everything is connected, I'm talking a secret video confession from someone high up in politics. Would they report on it and "woops, our bad" or would they suppress it as long as they could?

I watched Twitter suppress #PizzaGate and the hashtag for the #UFOattackonturkey. Journalists and MSM weren't ready.

They went into full damage-control mode and are on a slippery slope now. Discrediting news sites and attributing everything under the blanket of "Russian Propaganda" could destroy these companies as @Noctu said. I doubt anything would happen, because I truly believe MSM is too big to fail. I can hypothesize that there will be a big awakening in the weeks to come and American journalists have not prepared for that. As of now, they are making baseless, illogical, heavily-opinionated articles on pizzaGate and dwelling on the trivial details of CPP. We have the upper hand here, folks. The media is trapped in a defensive stance.
