The major "news" and entertainment sites use their own teams of commenters and often censorship to have their comment sections paint a different picture....then in turn, those they brainwash will parrot the contrived sentiments they were fed.
if you think people magically change by the power of a different url, please sign off. voat is a reddit clone, so the behavior is identical. this is only an alternative because it's not banned yet, but it's not one bit better.
I'm not thinking they were shamed, they meant to put this out as a hit piece, and it backfired because they left the comments section enabled and people came blazing in with facts and questions.
This needs to be stickied to any lOnion post from now on. A Shillary supporter actually bought the site specifically so it would not make fun of all her crazyness during the election.
Same with CNN posts, I went there yesterday and almost in every news they post, they get tons of "you suck CNN, go away!" "poor journalism!!" etc... CNN even posted a video saying that Cold War 2 is imminent, and people are not having it.
Freedom of speech? I treat everything on the internet with national enquirer like eyes. So like that's my choice. I don't need any censorship to protect me which honestly is to protect "them".
I menationed it in my own thread but SNAPCHAT HAS A PIZZA FACE FILTER. this only popped up within the lesat few days. WE NEED TO USE THIS WHILE IT IS STILL THERE. Take a pic of your face with the filter and overlay text from the podesta emails. I did the 'better on pasta than pizza' one. set this as your FB profile picture. send it to all your friends. this will cause people to wonder why all their friends are suddenly pizzas.
Yeah I have. Yes it does. No, it is. The Onion has an obviously liberal bias and as another voater said, is owned by a large Hillary donor.
The fact that the article has been taken down, when it said nothing outrageous or 'against the grain', is a clear indication that it was removed due to the controversial comments.
Don't rely on social media alone people. Use QR Codes! After printing them, I am just cutting them up and placing them everywhere, sometimes just dropping them onto the floor. I think a more effective way to get someone to scan them is to placed them on the products sitting on shelves. If anything, employees will wonder why they are finding them everywhere and scan them. Hopefully customers scan them as well of course.
They will probably think its some king of a coupon!!!
I did this yesterday with about 120 QR codes. It's so simple. Sure you can get adhesive paper and stick them onto things, but this is something you can do RIGHT NOW. You have a printer.... you have scissors.... DO IT.
Thanks. I figure most people that find the QR code sitting on shelves in stores will assume it's some kind of a coupon code or something. I sure as heck would scan a barcode in a store if I think it might be some kind of a deal!
I printed out 50 which I'm gonna drop in town soon. check out my post on how we can use the latest SUSPICIOUSLY TIMED snapchat filter

Excellent! Keep up the good work. I'm doing this every single day for the known future. People are going to be cooped up inside all day during the holidays. We need to overwhelm them with this so it can't be ignored. Cut out those QR codes to make sure you can place them on store shelves everywhere without being noticed. Most people will just scan it thinking it's a coupon code or something!
Nah, people love the onion. I have friends who are Hillary fans post onion stuff all the time. It's comedy but many take it seriously like the daily show.
Regardless of the specifics, even if you made a mistake, you pointed out a brilliant strategy. People read the comments, and it is a way to bypass the overt censorship they have started to employ of videos or postings. We can post these kinds of comments in any forum where we are trying to reach the masses (popular people who have a following and who generate a lot of comments). A great comment to plant would be something like: "#PIZZAGATE is NOT fake news. The media are lying to you to protect themselves and those in power while children are being abused. This is not a political issue. Check out
https://voat.co/v/pizzagate
to make your own determination."

BACKFIRE! wow good news
this wave is only at the beginning of its groundswell
I think the holidays are going to bring a lot more people into the fold as they have time to talk and research and face to face time with family and friends.
One of the things about the Left is they use things like The Daily Show, Colbert, and the Onion.
It's a great way of making people laugh and steering them to think a certain way.
The left uses most of Holly wood.
Lower with Crowder a conservative had a show and is starting to push the rights comedy angle.
If anyone has seen his ""Drawing Mohamed with Bob Ross" lol
This very much. People think because Colbert is witty and satirical with his comedy- it must mean his views are correct. I used to like him till i realized his show is nothing more than creative propaganda.
Not surprised. Haim Saban's wife Cheryl was rabid for Hillary. Hah! Sorry Cheryl. You can't always get what you want. We have many more surprises in store for these lofty elites. They are buying up everything because people are selling out for more money. Some Patriots. The American People are the Patriots. Never mind that little flag they wear on their lapel. They will sell our country to the highest bidder if we do not take control.
Takes 11 seconds to 'debunk' - going to New York Time and reading the article there that says nothing but 'this is fake' is NOT debunking. None of the MSM have yet addressed even the most obvious issues like the CPP Instagram account, nor do they even ask Jimmy Comet about anything. Coordinated David Brock media disinformation campaign.
We are the...NY Times...Washington Post...CNN...and we tell you that this all all made up and debunked. It is FAKE NEWS. After all, the owner denies it and claims to have received death threats. It is debunked because we tell you that is is [becomes a circular reference]. There is nothing to see here, so move along...and start shouting down or blocking anyone with the FAKE NEWS story from being able to spread their made-up story. Trust us! We know it is fake and are protecting you from seeing this so that you will not grow violent.
I haven't seen the Onion article, but this may have been deliberate; by writing about it like it is just satire, to 'accidentally' imply that it is totally real.
I think if they continue to push thia censorship, they're going to have to disable all comments from social media, because the shitstorm coming their way will be huge.
Matt Hayden thank you for your courage in putting your face and name to a public support for Pizzagate. Please share if you get opprobrium from the powers that be, I'm starting to hear a lot about how extensive the 'network' is down here in Australia.
Also note I'm a Leftist writer, of what remains of the critically thinking humanist left - rejecting political correctness and trying to re-establish sanity on the left. If you need support or examples of Leftists who are concerned about Pizzagate (to counter the alt-right tag/dismissal) please feel free to ask my views of the implications and issues. We all must unite for the children and their distraught parents.
What I find really interesting is the proportion of people doubting this story within the comment sections of articles like this. We are lead to believe we are a minuscule minority with barely any in numbers, but when you consider the censorship taking place across the board, it makes me think actually, many people do not believe that pizzagate is fake news, but the sheer scale of this investigation and peoples interest is being completely censored, whilst most people actually believe/know pizzagate to hold some truth. The comment sections are a much more accurate portrayal of public opinion than the articles themselves.
Matt Hayden on Twitter: "#TheOnion posted vid on FB mocking #Pizzagate. But many commenters not amused; said it's not #fakenews. Vid now gone. Significant."
Lol it takes 11 seconds to debunk, in the time they talked about point 4 and 5, they could have debunked it technically. But no, instead they make more unsubstantiated claims.
I stopped reading the Onion a few years ago. I couldn't take the liberal bias in everything they do. Same with Cracked. Their "guest" writers wrote like 300 fact-less anti-Trump articles in the last few months... NONE on Hillary.
