If you are anything like me you probably still visit reddit, and still spot the frequent suspected CTR shills.

Well I've checked the post history for a lot of suspects and I've noticed a shit ton of them all seem to have joined reddit about a year ago. This got me thinking about ways to track them, and I stumbled across snoopsnoo.com which gives a breakdown of a posters history, favorite subs, etc. It also indicates "redditor since". Presumably many CTR shills were hired at the same time.

Using that data you can get a vaugue idea of their location (based on location based subs they post in, and sometimes even more detailed info). From that data we might be able to collate generalized hiring dates and locations for groups of suspected CTR shills. Logically if there was a hiring blitz a year ago it would be a localized blitz.

Once we can locate the general area of the hiring blitz, we could then start checking archived data for hiring ads or job postings for CTR.

This would help us shed light on the Democratic propagandy wing (as I am calling it now, the Demagitprop), and shred focus attacks against an enemy slinking through the web.

Thoughts on this approach?
