First is this 2 different groups?same people? who listens to this? Confuse. Wondering exactly how out of the loop I am? Because aside from the pedo creep vibe - it sounds pretty bad. They have produced several videos though (time, effort, money), and usually this type of thing is is to appeal to a fan base. WHO ARE THE FANS? Are any of their loyal fans speaking out in support? Has anyone found any of the music maybe at a used record shop or the like? Merchandise? Did they play other venues or ONLY cosmic pizza- ? Would like to get a grasp on what this group is really all about. CDs, cover art, band pics? How many members? Another post suggested maybe they were a front to distribute cp- If they are legit musicians or performance artists or whatever you call that- maybe some of their fan base or merch could offer insight......

I think I'm just old. Village voice described the apes as the best "new-wave-masquerading-as-art-punk you'll hear all year." Not sure why you'd want to cultivate the pedo vibe, but after reading this blog everything seemed pretty mundane. New wave pseudo art punk, unless someone proves different.

I saw a really creepy video with Majestic Ape where she does "stand up" at Comet Ping Pong and people actually laugh at the stuff she says, thing is, it doesn't make any sense at all. She says stuff like "Russian, yoga pants, principal" and people start laughing like it's the best joke ever. This means there has to be even more codewords people in their circles use to communicate.
