God bless America.

I would investigate every Senator who signed this bill.

2impendingdoom

Doesn't A1 says that congress shall not make laws that abridge freedom of speech? This law, and congress is outright unconstitutional.

QuestionEverything

We need to MARCH on WASHINGTON , ARMED, if this law passes.

THIS is how they want to strip the 1st Amendment? Any congressman who votes for this is compromised and a TRAITOR.

We need to Identify each and every one of those motherfuckers who violates their oath to uphold the Bill of Rights.

I hope it doesn't come to that. NEW DOJ incoming. NEW CIA head, incoming. New federal employee accountability laws. Term limits.

-NONE of us should be willing to accept ANYTHING if it means losing ANY part of our 1st Amendment rights. ZERO ROOM FOR COMPROMISE HERE.

Chistock

They keep making Pizzagate into a free speech issue. All because Saudi Arabia wants their money back. This is one of the biggest mistakes they have ever made.

goatboy

Will these dumb fucks never learn the first law- don't feed the trolls. Any law or government that can be brought down by trolls, can be transformed by trolls.

Marching through the institutions with their Fabian Socialist bullshit. Gradually, a little here, a little there. They tucked the Smith-Mundt Act (legalizes propaganda by government (as if they didn't do it already) on US citizens) neatly away in the NDAA. This is all born of Marxism. Everything we're seeing here. Bunch of Sabbatean-Frankists back from the bolshevik graveyard of sophist economics. There is a central underlying pattern to all this with their ETHNICITY. Look into it. http://www.critical-theory.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/commiechart.jpg

Here's the letter I just wrote my Congressman. You'll probably want to edit a bit if you send to yours, but it's up to you ...

Please vote against the NDAA 2017 Conference Report. It contains a terrible component that has apparently come "out of the blue" to appear in the Conference Report even though I never heard that it was in the original bills passed in the House or Senate: http://www.portman.senate.gov/public/index.cfm/2016/12/senate-passes-major-portman-murphy-counter-propaganda-bill-as-part-of-ndaa This is really dirty pool, and a terrible thing added to the NDAA. The US government should not be involved in having a truth ministry for creating domestic propaganda, and that's what this poisonous thing would create. The whole hysteria about "Russian interference" in the 2016 presidential election is based only on a comment by James Clapper (not 17 agencies, just one man) that he subsequently walked back. There's no evidence of it, just people quoting other people now with no substance behind it. The polls were off because people like me lied to the pollsters -- and we lied because we suspected Hillary would try exactly what they did in Detroit -- manufacturing just enough votes in Detroit to counterbalance the rest of the state. With the polls wrong, they didn't manufacture enough. Regardless of whether you like my strategic tactics of lying to pollsters, it was legal and it explains what Hillary and others now want to blame on "the Russians". It's before your time, but when I was a kid there was a funny movie called "The Russians are Coming." They're not coming, they didn't hack our election, and we should not enable the President to run a truth ministry. Please vote AGAINST the 2017 NDAA Conference Report until the Senate cleans this up and takes out the Portman-Murphy truth ministry provision.

I just wanted to comment, this may not be directly related to pizzagate, but this bill will allow for expanded censorship powers, which in turn does not help this investigation. Please do not remove this post. It is relevant. Thank you!

MrWaldeck

..untill it comes out that pizzagate has an Russian orgin...

Note: this HAS NOT passed the House, or the Senate. It was just passed through committee. This will likely fall on its face come inauguration.

cover20

If it had only passed committee, I believe it would have said that. The link implies it's passed the Senate as a part of an attempt to align House and Senate bills for the 2017 NDAA. This is extremely dangerous. It's being treated as a final adjustment to get the House and Senate versions of NDAA to align, but instead it's a completely new thing that was dropped in there. Now either the House has to reject the bill, thus failing to complete the NDAA and forcing it back again to the Senate, or the House says "oh well" and agrees to it -- and it goes to Obama to sign into law!

This is a last minute ambush, and the only hope is to get the house to REJECT the entire Conference Report.

thatguyiam

This is the death knell for the USA then

sunajAeon

It is a real eye-opener how many politicians are corrupt

justiceforever

Thank you for the clarification!

warrior_of_light

No it did pass the Senate, the guy is wrong.

justiceforever

Well crap.

Fifthestateknows

Not so sure

warrior_of_light

My source states it passed the Senate and now has to pass in the house. If you are correct, please post a source. Thank you.

MeatballPizza

Trump won't be able to veto this?

warrior_of_light

Regular Veto

When Congress is in session, the president may, within the 10-day period, exercise a regular veto by sending the unsigned bill back to the chamber of Congress from which it originated along with a veto message stating his reasons for rejecting it. Currently, the president must veto the bill in its entirety. He may not veto individual provisions of the bill while approving others. Rejecting individual provisions of a bill is called a "line-item veto." In 1996, Congress passed a law granting President Clinton the power to issue line-item vetoes, only to have the Supreme Court declare it unconstitutional in 1998.

They are going to rush to pass it, Obama will sign it of course, and it becomes LAW. It has to pass the house of reps at this point in time. You all should contact your Reps of your respective states and blast them like a overly attached ex-gf.

i feel like i have a right to that fucking propaganda, for real
