This story is awful and important, but the reason it was deleted from those sites is probably not because of censorship. It looks like NYTimes, ABC, and Washington Post did not write and report their own stories, but ran a wire story from the Associated Press, which supplies stories to lots of publications. Different outlets have different deals with the AP, some allow them to keep the stories up on the site indefinitely while others take them down after a certain amount of time. So it could simply be that these sites all had the same deal with the AP wire.

But there would be an easy way to prove or disprove this, we would have to find an AP wire story that is older than the Norway CP bust story and is still on the NYTimes ABC or Washington post sites. Can anyone find this?

Names aren't public, but they are reported as two local politicians. One from the Progress Party, another from the Worker's Party.

Note that Norway recently cut back on donations to CF. If I understand correctly, donations were meant for foreign aid to specific causes - but were made to the CF and earmarked.

CF also used to list "Norway" and the foreign ministry "Utenriksdepartementet" as separate donors.
