Even aside from all the evidence of Hastert's conviction and other Republican's being involved, just simple logic would dictate that there are members of both parties that are compromised. If it was just members of one party then the other party would use that as a cudgel to ferret out every member of the underground operation and obliterate the other party electorally. However here we have a system where the 2 major parties are each in control of between 40-60% of each house of congress at the federal level and are generally the only parties represented at the state and local levels. Keeping a lid on something like this REQUIRES bipartisan support.

Problem of pizzagate is they will or might choose scapegoats, jail them, but nothing really changes. That is why they keep buying time, to stage a process of supposedly dealing with the problems. They need to stage it to fall in line with the narrative.
