The proof is that the American Psychological Association does not include it in their list of evidenced based treatment, nor do they allow EFT training to be submitted as CE (continuing education) credit. This is based on their review of all the evidence, not a single study. The study you have cited was already torn apart for methodological flaws as were other studies supporting EFT and other 'energy psychology' treatments.
