It's all subjective. Its not about one joke post, it's about 20 non-investigation posts that are different types of non-info. And who says this joke post is more worthy to stay up than say, this post - https://voat.co/v/pizzagate/1482768 - which has been getting heartfelt and community supporting replies? But then if we allow all those, the front page easily gets filled up with 'Hang in there guys!!', 'A message to all the investigators.. I love you!!' etc. So there is a lot of subjectivity involved in moderating here, much as you don't like it.

It is specifically against the rules in that it doesn't make it clear how this furthers the investigation. The rules were created to enable us to prune exactly this kind of waste of space material. There's no doubt in this specific case, I am very concerned that you think this is ok. The rules don't say 'pizzagate related', they say 'relevant or furthers the investigation', and relevant meaning relevant to this sub, which is

edit: at this point though, I have been meaning to ask you if we should be preening jokes like this? It is actually pretty funny, so I was not sure. some have expressed that we should leave things like this.

It's a rather brilliant joke referencing the suspected false flag "shooter" event at Comet Ping Pong. I personally vote that it gets left up because it's related to Pizzagate in that sense, and it's friggin' hilarious to boot.

As funny and relevant in terms of framing as it is, it may encourage others to get cheap votes by shitposting.

My position is to watch for dumbasses thinking they can game this and flooding the sub with similar low effort content.

If people are going to post jokes they should at least post good ones, which this one is

Conversely, maybe a shitposting sunday type thing could be a good way to bring some levity to an otherwise depressing topic.
Flair would also be a good help to making sure everyone is able to contribute without overbearing removal of posts
