What sort of bubble does this silly bitch live in to not understand the kind of blow back this sort of shit will have on her career? Even if you're not convinced of Pizzagate's ultimate legitimacy, as a "news" personality you'd have to understand on some level that this isn't a subject you'd want to be taking sides on, or be perceived to be giving one side more preferential coverage. Because if that shit breaks against your chosen side, then you go down with them.

Same with Colbert. That he explicitly picked a side just blew my fucking mind. It either makes you deeply and unforgivably stupid, or it makes you deeply and unforgivably evil. If it turns out Pizzagate is right, that's a complete destruction of your credibility followed by insta-retirement at the very least, and a dark shadow over the entirely of your professional life and legacy. Not to forget a great likelihood that suitably pissed off enough people are going to start digging into your personal life to see exactly which side of the Stupid/Evil schism you actually fell on.
