Hmmm... Sounds like low value art pieces by unknowns being purchased at inflated prices when in fact, the customer is actually buying children, and the entire thing is nothing more than a money laundering operation/child trafficking ring.

quantokitty

Wait! This is a charity and yet 88.5% is going to personnel and unclassified. Actually it's 100% that is accounted for since the remainder is for Other!!! I don't understand. Where is the charity given if JA keeps everything?

Orange_Circle

They also get tax payers money from NEA.

Orange_Circle

They also hosted an exhibit that another posted tied to the pedophile Baba in the Majestic Apes video.

We_The_People

Don't have much in depth knowledge of art but what I do know is this: They have art on appraisal TV shows from time to time. The appraiser usually looks to see what the painting sold for last or what similar paintings sold for last. You can have a bullshit painting that a 2 year old did sell for millions of dollars at auction. This sets the paintings worth. The segment usually ends with the appraiser commenting on what a piece of shit the painting is.

The customer pays the business owner the auctioned amount for a transfer of goods (painting plus goods or services.)Then that painting has a number value that could be used for future transactions without being auctioned again.

Screenshot & save whole page as HTML on your PC locally.

MrO

Makes perfect sense, if you are a children smuggler.

ProbablyHoly

Transformer Inc is a registered tax-exempt organization with the IRS.

AFriend

Yeah, wish I could edit my Title.

Listed as "170(b)(1)(A)(vi) Organization" a "Charitable Organization"

What charitable works do they perform?

remedy4reality

Excellent work... How does this sound: The ring launders money through bogus art sales of unknown hacks, who are paid very little for the originals. The works are then 'purchased' at inflated prices by ring members who, in fact, are actually buying children.

ProbablyHoly

Well because it is art related, is will be considered a cultural institution to the IRS (not for profit institution) thus tax exempt, as opposed to say churches in the cult who are exempt as charitable organizations.

jealoushe

Alefantis sure has a lot of money floating around everywhere. The IRS is going to be coming for him...

srayzie

Exactly. He doesn't NEED to work in a pizza place

cantsleepawink

No, they won't. He's involved in something at governmental level. That's what I think anyway.

birthdaysuit11

I agree seems like some sort of CIA social experiment.

That's some l33t shit right there pro work, how do you view Google cached pages?

redditsuckz

I just searched for Transformer-Inc and viewed the google cache page and archived it...All companies should allow google cache to go through to take a snapshot.

Same with Yahoo search cache and Bing search cache.

tjarco

That's the 2nd time in 2 days that won't archive for me, never happened before. Hopefully not a trend ...

Considering the art angle from the 4chan posts: What a great way to hide money and make it legit. That was the beauty of the Mafia owning casinos. They could take money from illegal sources (loan sharking, numbers operations, shake downs, prostitution, and drugs - yes, they all sold drugs) and then bring it to the casino. All the cash is instantly washed.

Cartels pay mega bucks every year to wash their cash around the world. A major U.S. bank paid a multi-hundred million dollar fine for participating.

Back to art. Who can say what 'art' is worth? Or what a legitimate bid on art is? Just do a package deal (kids with the art) and you instantly made it a legal business transaction and can then spend the money as you want - after paying your taxes, of course.

remedy4reality

exactly... this is it.. I'm convinced this is at least one way the money is being laundered by the Alefantis DC cell, and just what the REAL commodity is ( children ) ...

ProbablyHoly

They don't pay taxes. Transformer Inc is a registered tax-exempt organization with the IRS.

AFriend

Exactly. Look at this shit hole:

http://r2.washingtoncitypaper.com/files/base/scomm/wcp/image/2013/07/640w/blogs_artsdesk_files_2013_07_transformer.jpg

How is it pulling in over half a million/year?

“The tax laws in art make it basically legal to not pay taxes on art. If you’re a serious art buyer, you just get a good tax accountant,” former New York-based art consultant Beth Fiore tells Hopes&Fears. “If you show newly purchased works in certain museums then you never have to pay taxes on it.” Edward Winkleman of Winkleman Gallery maintains that his gallery keeps fastidious records of all transactions and pays taxes even on cash sales. But he admits that, “the state generally wouldn't question what is reported.” He also tells us that individual sales don’t need to be reported, only the totals for each quarter. Hypothetically, someone could buy millions of dollars worth of art without the IRS knowing, and then later sell those works for a “legitimate” profit that looks clean on taxes.

Art collection. Remember Tony Podesta has a 1300 piece art collection....

RexAxisMundi

Pedoesta is using his interest in art to launder his money. No way to prove that though.
