I didn't save the screenshots because I wasn't sure what I was looking at first. But I'll find the article and link it.

I've had a galaxy s7 for about 3 months now. Good phone I like it, but it came with bloatware which I've had, and still do have uninstalled and disabled as much as I can without rooting it. I just got a notification from the flipboard app talking about pizzagate saying something like watch this shooting go dark, thenjoy proceeded to spread some bullshit calling it a pizzagate lie, and talking about the events that happened a couple weeks ago.

Really weird that I would get a push notification about it though don't you think?

I'll edit the formatting later when I get on my computer.

Quick edit, has this happened to anyone else?

Sounds like your search or browsing history has a lot of Pizzagate in it, and the notifications didn't fully get disabled.

So Flipboard read your history and thought you'd like to read some fake news about Pizzagate.

Unfortunately, such tactics to "serve" you are quite common.

That's what I thought too, but I dont pay much attention to pizzagate, I only read up about it maybe once it twice a week at most. There is so much more in my browsing history to pull from
