Trying to be objective, isn't it possible they aren't trying to normalize the behavior, but rationalize the thoughts and impulses? I don't know anyone personally that has struggled with this, but read several stories online and heard interviews with "non-offending pedophiles". It does seem like a potentially valid issue. The problem they all seem to say is that most of the therapy and counseling aren't available until AFTER you are convicted of an offense. So basically the problem is you have people with the mindset "I am attracted to children but I don't want to do anything, I just want help" and they can't seem to get the help until they offend.

when I was young I used to hear about all this kinda stuff.
