daterange: This query will search within a given date and time range, but is a bit unusable because dates must be entered in the tricky Julian format. For example, the string:

beagle daterange:2455332-2455334

Will search for beagle-based articles over the last two days. Bonus link: calculate Julian dates here.

I know it can be done with advanced operators but you need to convert dates to a strange format.

General date search feature only allows you to go back 1 year and it includes everything present-1yearago.

This allowed you make a search, say 1990-1995 - and it will only display the search results in that time range.

I just tried the date search and it does nothing different that what google already offers.

There are no search query operators for date range that I am aware of, you have to set it on the search page in the Tools drop down menu.

You can isolate search to the same time frames.

I would be suspicious of this site since its just acting as a MITM between google which could be logging your data for data mining or whatever purposes.

Thanks, I must have missed he date range option? I just see "last updated" as an option in Google search. No where for range.. (outside of the operator I mentioned in my last comment)

One of my main points if you are trying to dig for any topic/person of interest without excluding these past 60-90 days; you're fighting an uphill battle (with all of the new content out there) unless of course you were looking for that new content.

Ahhh.. just requested "desktop site" from my mobile and date range option appeared. That must have been it. http://i.imgur.com/IfbVMeK.jpg

Strange. I don't recall seeing the date range option for some time. And I basically live on Google (work and play)

Research more effectively by searching any date range. Find new leads and source faster by omitting any recent findings that include references to topics of interest. No need to sift through thousands of search results that are pizzagate related.
