I was looking through some of the Podesta emails and noticed in the source code that emails to and from John Podesta have some strange forwarding and coding discrepancies in them. 1)
@mail
.gmail.com isn't a commonly used passthrough for Gmail servers. It's not a known configuration for IMAP, SMTP, or POP3 general allowances as far as I know. It also is something unique to his particular email address, none of the other ones that I've seen published seem to use it. They all seem to use mail.google.com. 2) The source code at the very bottom of the "Dominos" email has unnecessary formatting and what would appear to be a ghost URL. The metadata isn't right for what APPEARS to be there.
I'll link one of the emails as an example of the mail.gmail.com, though this isn't the only one.

Anyone know anything about this?

It's part of the message ID.
I don't know that has to do with the passthrough. Just, merely an identifier.
