One problem there is, this system is so corrupt, that many of the missing kids around the area of DC and Virginia have no photos on their reports. They withhold the photo so they are never found. This really only happens in Virginia area.. over 50% of the missing kids have no photos, usually it's more like 5%. And you can bet on the fact that the ones involved in trafficking are more like 100% missing photos.

Good post. Most of the kids involved nation-wide are never going to be found. They are not "in the public eye" - they are hidden away as prisoners, slaves. The average life span of these kids is a couple of years due to the horrific abuse they suffer, illness and disease, trauma... if they are not killed outright during these crimes.

That's not to say that if there was actually enough power put behind an authentic effort to search for the kids we DO know of and have photos of, that some good wouldn't be done - I think it would be worthwhile to serve those few kids - but a hell of a lot of work.
