Prior to 1972 the USA issued paper money to buy oil from Saudi Arabia, post 1972 the gold was gone. Saudi didn't want paper, and the USA only had one thing that Saudi wanted, and that was children. In Saudi since times immemorial it was common to give princes and their children 'human slave pets', which were used until damaged and then replaced.
