I'm not seeing that it exactly looks like a fish. I can see the tail fins. But it definitely looks like something was carved into her hand.

What is the context of the picture of the baby? The only plausible thing I can think of is this was a picture by the parents before the kidnapping. Am I wrong?

This comes from the autopsy photos and is referred to as a heart on her hand.
