Sounds funny but Facebook at this point has a larger audience than the entire MSM doubled and probably quadrupled. It's certainly high as hell and would be dumb to ignore. I mean yeah it's dumb and probably at its peak and on the way out but it's a powerhouse. Sorta like Google and YouTube and Twitter hard to ignore.
