Young boys are taken from their families in broad daylight and traded in Bacha Bazi among the Afghan police forces. Where this practice had been suppressed under Taliban rule, it is now widely practiced with little repercussions for the perpetrators. The UN signed an action plan against child exploitation 5 years ago but the problem has only worsened.
