FBIAnon was right when he said she had Special Access Programs on her server.

Orange_Circle

There must be a huge internal war going at the FBI. Sounds like there a couple of good agents left.

Insubordinate

Amazingly, the FBI investigation was dropped even after determining there was "probable cause" that emails on the laptop contained classified information. WTF?

Beaucephus

So this is what we know...

The warrant was issued Oct 30 2016 at roughly noon (9 days before election) They had 2 weeks from the date of issue to serve the warrant All evidence has been filed at the NY County Clerk of the Court office The inventory list on the warrant has been left blank but then it follows up with a specific item and hard drive to search. All this means is the item itself wasn't illegal to possess but the content thereon may be.

This is where it gets interesting (to me at least) the item to be searched was a "Silver Dell Inspiron 15 7000 series laptop computer (this is quite specific and tells us that this is a warrant issued either due to a specific complaint by a concerned cititzen or there had been an investigation already in place that allowed the NYPD to specify this particular computer. Not only that, but the computer was already in possession of the FBI field office located at 26 Federal plaza in NY. If this was common knowledge, forgive me but I didn't know this previously.

ESI means "Electronically Stored Information" - so again, the laptop itself wasn't illegal but possibly the content thereon (forgive me for being redundant, but I am just typing as I go through the warrant.

So this is where it gets good: They were allowed to search for basically anything they saw on that computer so long as they were in violation of this statute: https://gyazo.com/f59d6bea480946d8d4e9d9aa68273771

Beaucephus

Ok so now we're getting somewhere. The NYPD in executing this warrant has NO INTEREST IN WEIRNERS SEXCAPADES! They were specifically looking for evidence that would relate to a compromise in national defense (ie: Treason) by the transference of information to a foreign government.

Hmmmm..... So Weiner, who sat on NY City Council from 92-98 is the subject of investigation by the NYPD for working with a foreign government to leak information that would compromise national security????

I don't know but this thing is getting weird. We were told that his laptop was seized due to explicit conversations with a minor and now we see the warrant and the search related to crimes of espionage. WTF?

nomorepepperoni

Makes me wonder if they're looking to scapegoat Weiner and/or Huma for leaking state secrets. Hang the weights on their necks to distract from the trafficking and/or suggest it was all their idea, and that poor Hillary and the CF were being used by them somehow.

Beaucephus

I will continue here. I accidentally hit Enter and posted early...

dph1978

The warrant shouldn't be expected to have anything relevant to pizzagate in it. The reason for the warrant was to investigate the storing and transmission of classified State Dept info. But, once they looked on Weiner's laptop, they, allegedly, found a trove of heinous shit. Which NYPD and FBI threatened to expose, before Loretta Lynch and Justice Dept threatened them and shut that down.

The Facts

The unsealed records reveal that the FBI told federal magistrate judge Kevin Fox–who issued the search warrant–that Weiner’s laptop likely contained illegally possessed classified information. Because the FBI believed that Clinton and Abedin had previously corresponded classified information, an FBI agent argued there was probable cause to search the laptop.

WhatevsFloatsUrGoat

Clause 10... laptop may contain "fruits". Legalese for what?

CadiBug

This is what I found Fruits of Crime = This term applies to the material things that are taken during a crime being committed

party1981

Nothing about pizzagate, sex, Soros, or the Clinton Foundation

totesgoats908234

What do you figure they are referring to in 6? https://i.sli.mg/IsHedT.png

When they do these warrant searches of a hard drive, and many other type warrants, they have to be VERY specific in what they will be looking for. Whatever they find that is outside the scope of that warrant, even if illegal, cannot be used as evidence for prosecution using that discovery as evidence.

party1981

I think this means that when they first got the laptop, they tried to separate Weiner's sex case from the rest of the stuff on the laptop, to protect the privacy of other people, etc. But, as they were going through the meta-data, they realized that this had HRC emails on it that were relevant to the server investigation.

totesgoats908234

It could be, but it specifically says "Because ______ emails were outside of the scope __________________ the FBI did not review the content of those emails." If they were relevant, why did they skip over thousands of those emails.

It sounds to me they found something that was outside the scope of the warrant.

party1981

There are two warrants. Originally they executed a search for Weiner sex case. In doing that, they found Hillary's emails. Those were outside of the scope of the first-Weiner-sex warrant.

Inside the FBI, they sat on this for weeks, then they decided to get a second warrant to search the Hillary emails.

The interesting thing is that the warrant doesn't mention anything about pizzagate, child trafficking, treason, Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation, or any of the other things we are all hoping that the patriots in the FBI are actually investigating.

totesgoats908234

I see now, thanks for the extra context.

STEvoats

Skimming through, it does seem many of the redactions in the latter portions of the doc are Huma's name. Agree with OP subject line that large redacted sections are likely referencing other ongoing investigations or cases with other outstanding warrants mentioned.

oresd

Unless knowing that Wiener owned a Dell Inspiron is a revelation, there is nothing to see here.

The redaction is of no consequence.

I believe the OP could have scanned the document a determined it was not worth wasting our time with.

Orange_Circle

I disagree. It's very interesting.

TimeForPitchForks

Exactly, and every piece of info needs to be thoroughly gone thru. Some dots are tiny, while some are huge and easily connected.. I would up voat but Im at my limit for today lol

oresd

How?

ThePuppetShow

If someone would have posted a comment in another thread saying the warrant didn't say anything, half of the people here would have asked for proof. Now it takes no time for people to figure that out for themselves. I don't trust anyone, gotta see it to believe it.

the_cat_whisperer

While true that it didn't reveal much, it's necessary to see what was redacted. We knew yesterday that certain names would be withheld, but it is still nice to be able to see the actual warrant

oresd

It didn't reveal anything except he likes Dell.

We_The_People

Why does it feel like they are jerking us off with this redacted bullshit?

sixgorillion

Just speculating here...

edit: I'm a stupid fuck

kafkaT

OCR, machine learning should be able to reasonably predict those redacts. Any autists up for the challenge?

FuckTheseSickos

Gmail..... gmail is what you are looking for there. "gmail accounts" "soros accounts"

Come on now...

grlldcheese

They are 100% jerking us off. 5 and 23 are the most important numbers in the 'Illuminatus Trilogy'. See if #17 is also fucky.

That being said, after the FBI vault Twitter account, keep an open mind. It might be more of a friendly handjob.

standalone

5 and 23 are the most important numbers in the 'Illuminatus Trilogy'. See if #17 is also fucky.

Oh really, what happened to 6, 7, 13 and 42 then?

If you add eastern tradition where 4 is death and 8 is luck and wealth, pretty much every goddamn number can be found to have occupt meaning.

Nonsense.

grlldcheese

I'm talking about probably the most famous cultural definition of illuminati conspiracy theory there is.

There's random chance and there's a shoutout.

This is a shoutout.

If you want to argue about statistics, that's what i do. But i bet you won't. Because you're a faggot.

standalone

If you want to argue about statistics, that's what i do.

Oh really, "statistics"? What I'm doing for a living involves a lot of quantitative analysis so you found the right person to talk stats with. Shoot first. Show me the data, and explain your analysis. I'm waiting to be convinced.

But i bet you won't. Because you're a faggot.

Why stoop to doing ad hominem attacks? Shouldn't a smart ass like you be using actual arguments instead?

grlldcheese

So where's your criticism you incompetent fuck?

2impendingdoom

The laptop's serial number is being redacted. Why? Will there be a switcheroo in the evidence room?

JrSlimss

For some reason they refused to identify Abedin or Weiner. Not sure why, but it's consistent with that. A Dell worker could search that serial number and link it to Weiner or Abedin, and obviously the normal workers there wouldn't have security clearance.
