The funny thing is that, contrary to what that article suggests, you could completely remove the 'spirit cooking' angle and you're still left with weird occultic connections, like the 'thelema favor' Podesta email (which is an explicit reference to Crowley's occultic religion), the art that Alefantis had in CPP (with occultic imagery being a constant theme in that artist's work), and the band that plays at CPP (Heavy Breathing). Spirit Cooking was just one of several occultic connections.

Just because it's "art" and the artist has a famous name doesn't mean it's not black magic. In fact there's a lot of rumors and stories about that kind of shit. I mean that's sort of why we're all here.
