Apparently there were a few hours while mods couldn't delete submissions for some reason. It is likely that one of them resorted to a flag instead of simply removing the post due to a lack of sources. This explains the confusion.

Thanks for the link, I've checked out your post, it definitely is up but has been flagged "Debunked" for a reason unknown to me. I don't see anything indicating that your theory has indeed been debunked, so the flagging is unexpected. Even if it had been debunked at an earlier time, a link to that would have been the minimum by the mod who issued the flag.

I searched the past four days of the submission removal logs for something that is similar in its title to this submission of yours, to no avail. Also nothing around 50 upvoats. If the post you're talking about got flagged as "Debunked", that doesn't mean it has also been removed. Without more information as to what went missing, I'm afraid I won't be able to help you with this.

I wasn't the one who deleted the original one, and I'm unaware of it. I'm sure another mod had good reason to remove it if they did, but I'll take a look. Nonetheless, this particular submission was violating rules, that is why it's been removed.
