Who are the largest contributors to that article? If a particular name or two pops up significantly more than anyone else's then chances are they're directly involved in it. The general rule regarding Wikipedia is the one who contributes the most is the one most personally invested in the subject matter. You don't write pages and pages of something you have zero interest in, that's not the way it works.

I added this to the talk page of the Wikipedia article, to argue they can't say it is debunked when most of the sources claim it's debunked based on the police investigation which never actually took place.

This needs to be changed on Wikipedia - the guy that did the FOIA request needs to submit it to some journalists, just in case one of them has some morals, or in case some of them were just being lazy and not really looking into it.
