Never known a cop to.investigate any crime, even with illegal felons , all the evidence and multi witness/victims, tbh. And calling 911 on even gunshots, they intimidate, refuse anonymous as say your address, etc and try to fouce you to come out at 3am for gunshots heard. Animal control, same bs.

That quote is often attributed to Herbert Spencer, but scholarlyish folks seem to be saying that he never said it, and it more or less originated with Willam Paley before Spencer, and perhaps was first laid out in the current form by... I forgot his name. You can look it up. Anyway, it's a good quote regardless of the origin, and is quite applicable here.
