I'm from this area and this could easily be nothing. There are huge amounts of college students and "senior week" kids who spend the summer or part of it renting little cottages in these beach towns and just getting drunk. There are many houses and cottages that barely squeak past the fire cods to accomodate 10 people who want to leave in 500 sq ft for as cheap as possible. So to me, that explains the tiny rooms. I have seen bedrooms nearly that small in these beach houses, so its possible that this is more for broke college kids than anything nefarious.

I don't see how this is #pizzagate related.

A spiral motion is often used in applying pizza sauce as it allows for a consistent amount sauce. My local place used to use this method.

Swirl Pizza is a style found along the Schuylkill river towns just northwest of Philadelphia. This pizza is built upon a crust much thinner than your average Philly slice, and the sauce is applied on top of the cheese in a decorative spiral pattern. I found it at Alex's Pizzeria in Roxborough.
